Service Update - 20 July 2021

Update 20 July 2021 

All West Gippsland Libraries branches including the mobile library will be closed for a further 7 days as directed by the Victorian Government announcement today. 24/7 access at Foster library is also currently unavailable.

During this time there will be no public access to our library branches and all events including StoryTime and Baby Rhyme Time will be cancelled. You can still access our online resources including e-books, e-audiobooks, digital magazines and children’s resources while we are closed. 

We will be offering Click & Collect services from all our library branches (excluding the mobile library) during regular opening hours at your local branch. Please see our locations page for more information on locations and hours. Home delivery is also available via Australia Post, please see our home deliveries page for more information.

Northern Mobile Library

The Northern Mobile Library is currently closed but holds can be picked up via Click & Collect at Warragul Library. Please call prior to visiting so we can confirm your holds have arrived at Warragul Library: 5622 2848

Home Delivery via Australia Post

Home delivery via Australia Post is also available to all library members. For more information about this service, please visit our home deliveries page.

Caring Calls

We’re continuing to call some of our most vulnerable and disconnected members to offer home delivery and any support we can.

Online Chat

Support is available via live chat on our website, where you can chat to a real person online, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.

Online Programs and Events

Our range of virtual events and programs are available for you to enjoy from the comfort of your home! We will resume in-branch programs soon, please check with your local branch for more information.

 

Digital Resources

All our digital resources continue to be available to library members. We have a wide range of ebooks, eaudiobooks, emagazines, digital newspapers, kid’s activities, kid’s reading resources, streaming movies and documentaries and even online study courses. Our team are working on adding new e-resources.

You can get access to our digital library online, anytime or download our app.
