MEET THE AUTHOR
Jen Hutchison author of Motherling
Please join us for an absorbing and informative chat about author and publisher Jen Hutchison’s moving story of her 800 kilometre walk through grief to peace, of patience, forbearance and the enduring nature of a mother’s love. Motherling is a story of finding and healing yourself after unspeakable loss, healing through walking and taking what life throws at you, one step at a time.
Motherling addresses every parent of an adult child’s nightmare. You’ve made it. Your child is grown up. He’s got a great job, living a full and happy life overseas. You don’t have to worry about him any more like you did when he was young. And then a call from halfway round the world. Something terrible has happened …
Until now there has been no word for a mother who has lost her child. Now there is.
Jen is a writer and publisher, the founder of Journeys to Words Publishing, a new imprint focussed on the work of mature-age writers. Copies of Motherling will be available for purchase.
